Standard Size Doors
With Holes For Towel Bar/ Handle Combo
Clear Tempered Glass with Flat Polished Edges.
You may find a blemish smaller than a water spot.

Typically a 28 x 72" Door costs $416 with holes and notches but without hardware. We're trying to clear our warehouse out so we can stock other non-selling items. Some of these doors have minor scrathes on them. We are obviously losing money on these. Sorting through them causes scratches.

The crating and shipping charge would be $350. Or you can pick them up in Berkeley and pay no shipping. Since they are stocked items we obviously can't have them made near you as we can with custom made glass. So it may be cheaper to have us make a custom made door than to ship one of these. It depends on where you live.

If your opening is wider, we can supply a custom made panel to make up the difference.

This door has to be wall mounted. Glass to glass hinges won't work.

Important: For a door and a panel, the hinge wall has to be plumb and the curb level.
For a Single Door: the walls have to be plumb the curb level and the width of the opening has to be between 5/16 and 1/2" greater than the width of the door. 3/8" Greater is the optimum size. So to use a 28" door your tile should be 28 3/8" from wall to wall. There seems to be a lot of tilers now days that are good enough to make an opening like that.

All these doors are 71 9/16" tall. This places the top edge of the glass at 72". There is 7/16" gap at the bottom, which is the correct gap for a vinyl sweep (P990).

Holes and notches and polished edges are correct and included. The notches are for wall mount hinges only. Glass to Glass hinges won't work.

If your door opens up against a wall, then the towel bar will hit the wall and that is not good. However, you can still use this door and save three hundred or more dollars by covering the towel bar hole with a small cap and then use a back to back 6" handle. See bottom of Page. We also have the top pivot doors which will put the pivot point out an inch further into the opening thereby allowing the door to open almost all the way without hitting.

These prices are for the glass only. Hardware is not on sale. See the links below or just call us up and we'll give you the total price over the phone.

See a quick overview of the handles HERE.

Vinyls:
See the Vinyl Page.
Recommended Vinyl: P990 for the bottom and nothing for the sides.
If you want better water proofing then use SDTL for the strike side and SDTV for the hinge side. These are applied with Clear high bond double face tape.
When you call to order we will take care of all that for you.
FINALLY: If you order the glass and hardware we will include the door installation kit which is screw driver bits, shims, installation instructions, anchors, tile drill bit, spray water bottle, glass cleaner, and a few other things.
If you buy a panel as well we include more anchors, shims, silicone and so forth. You will need to buy Blue painter's tape to silicone without making a mess. See the instruction pages.

We have plugs to elegantly cover the towel bar hole.
These are 3/4" standoff caps with special allen screw between them.

This will allow you to plug the towel bar hole and use a regular 6" handle. It's the perfect solution. You still save over $300 and all you have to do is live with the extra little cover plates. If you consider that an installed door can run $1300 with labor, then you have made quite a bit per hour.
