Laminated glass can also be bent, but it tends
to delaminate when water gets to the edge.
Laminated glass is far more fragile than tempered
glass. Did you see the page on Strength
of Tempered Glass? Be sure to go to page
two. |
This
door #1001 was fabricated and tempered in Chicago, sandblasted
in Los Angeles and installed by us in Oakland.
The sandblasted pattern reminds me of Corona
Borealis. As I remember, this door would run $2-3000
shipped to your door. These are some of our most expensive doors. We shipped four bent doors to Columbia along
with instructions which were translated into
Spanish. |
