Other Wood Door Stainless Systems

Our Rectangular Aluminum Wood Door Fitting

	1. Laguna Top Hung Slider: Stainless Steel For Glass or wood. The rollers are exposed and made of beautifully finished Stainless Steel. There are no jambs or sill. Prices start at $540. Single door versions, Double Door, and complex sliding stacking and folding systems are available. We will have parts to make this work with wood door 5/16/08.
	The Hydroslide: New Product. Aluminum 2 1/4" round header in Brushed Nickel, Oil Rubbed Bronze, as well as Polished Aluminum and Gold. 3/8" Glass. Door and Panel, or Door Panel End Panel, or Double Door Corner, or ......
	2. Wilson Top Hung Slider: with Rectangular Rollers The header is too small to support the weight of the 3/8" thick glass. So the header has to be attached to the ceiling or support of some kind. There are no jambs or sill. A small threshold can be used for water proofing. In the picture at left a cover plate hides the track and rollers. The glass can be very large. There are several expensive versions from hafele and others but we've imported our own very reasonable system. Prices run around $170.
	3. EPCO Rectagular Patch Slider These have advantages but the roller assemblies are $160 each. Wilson version is $83 for two. There is a smaller version which seems to be a good deal and requires no cover plates.
	4. Top Hung Slider: with U-Shaped Roller Assemblies This system can have the fixed panel hold up the center of the header so that the header does not need to be attached to the ceiling. Here again there are no jambs or sill. Great for small bathrooms with little or no room for a swinging door.

	MWE offers the most exotic Roller and Tube Stainless systems. They are pricey, starting at around $2000 without glass, but beautifully designed. Models for wood doors as well. Click here or the photo to see more.
	5. Cottage Sliders New Product: 3/8" Glass and even 1/2" Glass Side Jambs can be Clear Vinyl, or even omitted, for a real frameless look. Sizes up to 72" x 80" high. Header is fastened to the wall with four brass brackets. Through-the-glass towel bars and knob. Comes in Oil Rubbed Bronze, Bright Anodized Bright Gold Anodized Brushed Nickel
	6. Three Panel Design: CAN SHIP. 15% More Door Opening. The 3 panels stack to one side Many finishes 1/4" Glass and now 3/8" Glass as well.
	7. Contractor's Wardrobe Framed and Frameless - Sliders and Swinging Door Kits. They have good prices and good quality. We do not ship these. Shipping is too expensive. They or a similar product is usually available at a local glass shop. Click Here for Price List. Click Here for Their Website.
	8. Hafele Top Hung Sliders Similar to our Tubular Version but uses a flat bar for the track and the wheels are concealed somewhat. Relatively expensive at about four times the cost of ours.
	Solid Brass Version: Call for pricing, but this is not the way to save money. You've probably seen these at the Expo. Available in any finish that brass can be plated and finished, such as Real Chrome, Polished Copper, Oil Rubbed Bronze and Antique Finishes. Also available: Steam Slider with brushed Pile system for a tight seal. 3/8" or even 1/2" Glass in real brass frame or aluminum frame. Stainless Steel Framed Doors for Government Jobs What's the advantage of expensive solid brass frames? Brass can be plated with Real Chrome, Copper or even 24kt Gold. Polished Brass is so much nicer than bright Gold Anodized Aluminum.
