	The photo at right shows the Base shoe system with starphire glass and LED's in the Hand Rail. Note that Starphire Glass is not blue any more. So the edges probably will be greener. But the good news is that Starphire is much cheaper now. See below for more notes on the LED lighting.
	Click the photo at left for a larger picture. With no Cap Rail, the glass practically disappears. This base shoe has bronze anodized cladding. Oddly enough, the brushed stainless cladding is the best price.

CHECK OUT PRICES: The base shoe comes in 20 foot lengths and we can cut it to size for you including miters. We charge by the foot. The base shoe can't be shipped by UPS unless your sizes are less than 100" and even then UPS charges extra so please call to order this product.

The Base Shoe System Uses a heavy duty U-Channel at the bottom and no posts. There are several shapes available.

DETAILS OF THE STANDARD BASE SHOE
2 1/2" x 4.1" - $39.00 per foot. This works out to be $390 per 10' section. You can save considerably more if you can cut the Base Shoe yourself with a chop saw with carbide blade. The stock lengths are 20' long. Call for pricing.

CEMENT: Kwixset Expanding Cement
25 lbs does 20 feet and costs $60 and weighs 25 lbs.
50 lbs does 40 feet and costs $99 weighs 50 lbs.

Wedge system recommended only for short straight run : $800 tool required. Wedges break. Glass can't be aligned or adjusted and they are expensive: Add $17 per foot for wedges. We can rent the tool to you.

FASCIA MOUNTING: The Base shoe can be Fascia Mounted on a Ledger. Click Here for Drawing of holes. We can supply this pre-drilled or you can drill it yourself.

News about the LEDs. We were having to charge $100 per foot for the super bright LEDs! But we found a better source. Now we can charge $42 per foot. However, the new Wedge System is not very well suited for this purpose. Give us a call.
