Our SDTL is an L shaped Vinyl that is used as a strike. Applied to the panel or tile on the handle side of the door to make normally double acting doors swing outwards only. It can be used on both hinge and handle side jambs. Or the hinge side can be the SDTB (Bulb Seal) or SDTS (V Seal).
The rigid 5/16 inch (8 mm) leg is applied using our Clear High Bond Double Face Tape. Soft 3/8 inch (10 mm) leg acts as a seal and allows for a quiet and forgiving door closure.

When using the SDTL Seal for a strike, it makes sense to reverse the hinge pin of at least one hinge. Sometimes reversing both hinges makes the door slam a little too much. See How to Reverse teh Hinge Pin.
