ROM91
We often use this bracket near the top of the fixed panel and then, at the bottom, we use a U-Channel. The U-Channel hides the setting blocks and any error in the angle.
The bracket is easy to install, and allows the glass to be mounted very near the tile with only a hole and not a notch in the glass. Using the bracket on the side instead of U-Channel allows for more of an all glass look.

The ROM91 looks like this when you get it. Discard one of the face plates for use as a wall mount bracket. In the box you will find a stainless or brass wood screw for mounting.
Unfortunately the screws supplied are for 5/16" and 3/8" glass. If you are using 1/2" glass you need to also get an extra long screw 6mm x 15mm in the right finish. We have those. If you are buying a kit with glass from us, just make sure we don't forget that.

This bracket is also good if the fixed panels go to the ceiling and the ceiling is sheet rock. I'd definately recomend backing behind the sheet rock. The four square inch mounting plate will not crush the sheet rock like the brackets with smaller foot print.

Installing the fixed panel with this bracket and U-Channel: Very basically - glass is in U-Channel at the bottom. Mark the hole location. Lean the glass out and drill then lean it back in and fasten with screw. Silicon and take shower. For more complete instructions start here.
