I used a polarizing filter on my camera but you can use polarized sun glasses just as well. I adjusted the filter so that the flat panel display on my computer was black.
Apparently a flat panel screen emits very polarized light. Who knew?
Then I held the piece of tempered glass in front of the computer screen and took enough pictures for the animated gif.
We've been trying to find a good way to test if a glass panel is tempered for some time. Aric discovered this definitive test. I don't see how we can make money with it so now you know the secret, just because you visited our web site.
The shadows in the glass are eerie to say the least. I am pretty sure they are ghosts of dead people. I found one that looked a lot like Nixon.
