It may seem odd to order a Custom Made Heavy Glass Shower Door over the internet, but we've been doing this for seven years now. Prices are so low in California due to the recession that we ship glass made here to the East Coast almost every day, saving our customers thousands of dollars.
We can't always save every customer money. Sometimes people live near a really decent local installer. That's good too.

PROCESS:
1. GET A QUOTE: by email, phone or fax.
2. MEASURE your opening accurately. See the instructions.
3. WE MAKE THE DRAWINGS for the glass and send them back to you.
4. REVIEW THE DRAWINGS and make changes or and give us the Okay.
5. WE PLACE THE ORDER and charge your card.
Depending on where you are located, the glass and hardware are ready in less than two weeks. It is possible to have the glass and hardware in ONE DAY. Not likely, but possible.

Tempered glass is very strong: That's an old company photo. We're all standing on a piece of 3/8" Tempered Glass. Don't try this at home. We're obviously professionals. See Strength of Tempered Page.

GETTING A QUOTE:
   THE DRAWINGS PAGE. (It's called "Door Drawings" Link #3 on our new menu.) There are many drawings on these pages. When you find the one that is closest to your opening, you can press the button and fill out a form to get a quote on that shower. We need to know your location in order to give you the best possible price. Please also specify the finish of the metal if it is not Chrome. Actually Chrome, Brushed Nickel and Brass are all about the same price.

DIRECT ROLLER SHOWER DOOR: Four beautiful large stainless ball bearing rollers carry the heavy glass door almost without friction along a one inch diameter track which is held up in the middle by the fixed panel. So only one door slides, the other is fixed. But the look is fantastic. It's all stainless steel; no tarnish. Big wheels last longer and carry more weight.	DIRECT ROLLER SYSTEM
More Traditional Sliding Shower Doors can be found under link #2 on the new manu. But one last new product is the: HYDROSLIDE SHOWER DOOR: Aluminum Header contains concealed rollers. Most often this is a Sliding Door and a Panel but it can also be used with our Bi-Fold System. It can also be configured as a CORNER SHOWER WITH TWO SLIDING DOORS that meet in the corner for those very small bathrooms.	THE HYDROSLIDE

   Wilson Glass imports some Chinese products, but we use American Designed CRL Brand Geneva and Vienna Hinges which cost a little more but have several cool features. In fact if you prefer we have Chinese hinges in stock and we can lower your shower door price by another ten bucks or so by using them.
    When you're paying $1000 or more for a nice shower, does it make sense to save $10 on a cheaper hinge? We don't get that logic either.
   Geneva and Vienna Hinges have these features:
   Reversible Hinge Pin to give you the choice of swinging both ways or closing tighter against the vinyl - built in. No extra charge.
   Protective Tabs Built in as shown at right.
   Choice of Allen head or Phillips both are included.
   15 FINISHES: Not to mention they have 15 finishes.
