Wilson Glass Featured In San Francisco's Most Expensive Home

A new mega-mansion is on the market and it's raising eyebrows across San Francisco. Realtors can't get enough of the price, a cool $28 million, which makes this once-apartment the most expensive house on the market. Architects can't get enough of the daring construction, which you'd never guess from the ornate hand-carved trim and detailed columnar capitals on the building's exterior.

Sleek and modern, the 9,052 square feet feature a rooftop infinity pool, floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge and a spiraling staircase that opens to a dramatic oval skylight. Wilson Glass was called to the task of installing the glass railing for the very unusual staircase, completing the eye-catching feat of engineering that connects the building's five levels.
